Holm Grown

A Community Growing Space

Our proposed Community Growing space is starting to take shape.  The layout plans are show in the photos below.

The project will involve the site being edged with borders and raised beds, with a central area featuring a pergola type tunnel. The beds and raised beds will be used to grow fruit, flowers and vegetables, and as far as possible the whole area will be accessible for all.

The project received planning consent in the summer of 2021 with application number 21/01875/ful

Major funding has been given by the National Lottery Community Fund (£9750) and Highland Council (£5000) which is to be used to form the paths and the central area.

Keep an eye on our Facebook page for dates for our volunteering days.
